The Foxwall EMS Bike Team consists of two high-power battery eBikes and two twelve-speed pedal bikes. Foxwall utilizes this equipment for special events in Western Pennsylvania, and for search and rescue in cooperation with our partners at the Allegheny Mountain Rescue Group.
The eBikes offer improved range, speed (upwards of 30mph) and allow our crews to arrive less fatigued and ready to work. Our team trains regularly on event medical services, terrain rescue, and search and rescue.
The Bike Team relies on grants and donations for equipment upkeep and staffing, particularly to enable our Search and Rescue mission throughout the region which we provide free of charge. Please consider donating to Foxwall to support our operations.
