Hello! Thank you for your interest in Foxwall. EMT courses in Pittsburgh can be taken in a variety of locations, primarily the Center for Emergency Medicine and Community College of Allegheny County. There are typically multiple locations available each semester, and tuition varies by institution. If you take the program and remain a member of Foxwall for a prescribed period of time, you may be eligible for tuition reimbursement. Please feel free to contact us for more detailed information.
Hi. I am a certified EMT in New Jersey. Would I still need to become an EMT in Pennsylvania to join?
Pennsylvania offers “reciprocity” to EMTs in other states. I’m not sure what exactly the process is for New Jersey, but you can request more information here: Emergency Medical Services Institute Thank you for your interest. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions.
Hi there, the link to download the application is broken.
I have fixed the link. Thanks for the heads up!
Does foxwall have hiring opportunities or volunteer only?
We have only volunteer opportunities at the present time. All of our crew members are volunteers except for our chiefs.
